Event Date:
March 15, 2021
Event Time:
9:00 am
11327 Hero Way West, Leander TX 78641
Are you looking for something more natural for your kids? Something that they can use their imagination and get lost in it for hours? Something that is more nature-based so they can be in tune with the world around them?
Come check out our creekside playscape where there are loads of imaginative play available and kids get to explore the natural setting around them.
In our fully treed play area, kids can explore balancing, water play, fort building, etc. I’m a grown up so I can’t even imagine ALL the things that kids can imagine! The sky’s the limit for their imagination at the playscape!
Local residents have named the Creekside Playscape “Leander’s little Sherwood Forest.”
Kids have said, “The playscape was my most favorite part of our visit to Isle Acre Farms.”
*No Farm Tour Available*
Event F.A.Q
What ages is the playscape suited for?
The playscape is best suited for ages 3-12yrs.
I have a child that is under 3...can they come?
Yes! Children under 3 are welcome with an accompanied paid sibling. If you only have one child under 3, you are more than welcome to come but we would require you pay for that child.
Can we tour the farm?
Unfortunately, no, there is no farm tour during this event. This event is just free-play at the creekside, playscape. All farmers will be working the farm during these hours. We will have scheduled farm tours on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
Is this a drop off?
No, this is not a drop off event. Parents are fully responsible for the safety and well being of their children while at the playscape.
Can we bring food?
YES! You can bring food and we have picnic tables you can enjoy. We do ask that you take your trash with you.
What is your mask policy?
We follow local guidelines that strongly encourage masks to be worn if 6ft of social distance can not be maintained.
What if it rains?
We fully believe that children benefit from playing in all sorts of weather types, ie. rain, cold, etc. It gives them a chance to experience the elements and how to handle them. We strongly encourage you to dress your children appropriately for outdoor play and for the weather. Dressed appropriately they should be able to endure. If Isle Acre Farms deems the weather to be too treacherous, we will cancel the class via email.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Unfortunately for this event, there will be no refunds for cancellations due to it being a specific spring break event with no dates available for make-ups.
What should my child wear?
Something ok to get dirty and wet in.
Can we swim at the creek?
No, there is no swimming allowed. But there is a place where children can get their feet wet.
Can we stay later?
This event is only from 9am-12pm. It is a working farm so other times will be dedicated to working the farm.
