Join Farmer Pete for a 3-hour Gardening 101 class on how to start your very own vegetable garden and learn how to keep it going for the year!
If you are wanting to start a garden or are having difficulties getting going, then this gardening class is for you!
This is a hands-on class for beginner adults, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of starting a garden such as how to design/build your garden, plan your garden to have consistent food production, watering, pest management, and much more!

Can kids come to this class?
This class is for adults only. We will be starting our farm classes for kids in March.
Do I need to bring anything?
You're going to be gardening...put on those old sneakers you have lying in the closet! You'll definitely want to have gloves, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc), weather-appropriate attire, and plenty of water.
What happens in inclement weather?
We firmly believe that when dressed appropriately we can handle rainy weather conditions. If it is raining, please make sure to dress appropriately ie. rain boots, coats, etc. We do have an outdoor classroom area that is covered that we will do part of the class in. If Isle Acre Farms deems the weather too treacherous, Isle Acre Farms will cancel via email and will issue a makeup date.
What is your mask policy?
We follow local guidelines that strongly encourage a mask to be worn when the social distance of 6ft cannot be maintained. The class will be small with no more than 15 attendees.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel within 24 hours of the event date for a full refund. After 24 hours, no refunds will be given as all funds go back into the farm.
